Top Tiles With Design

SILVER TRIM

Silver travertine tiles, Ann Sacks's Palladium, line the walls and floor of a Boston townhouse's master tub.

VINTAGE PALETTE

At a boy's toilet, turquoise tiles by Mission Tile West make a 1930s-inspired vibe.

BUILT-IN FRAME

A geometric design encloses the mirror and sconces at a New York bath, with tile by Studium.

Frameless Shower Door

BLUE OMBRE

The master bathroom walls in a Manhattan penthouse are tiled in Bisazza's Mughetto, and the flooring in Ann Sacks's Savoy.

GOLD LEAF

"I have always loved these glass gold-leaf tiles ... they're really so Liberace!" Says Bailey McCarthy of the Davlin collection of Ann Sacks. An antique chandelier and Calacatta Gold marble create the renovated master bathroom a showstopper.

HONEYCOMB

Glass doors put a bathtub on full screen, so Matthew Quinn played up the opinion using Origami Kiki marble flooring out of AKDO. The jagged pattern and hexagonal shapes "are lively, but the neutral palette makes sure it is not too loud visually," he states. He kept the remainder of the shower discreet using AKDO Soft Gray marble tiles.

SLEEK SILVER

Designers James Michael and Phoebe Howard found the inspiration for a New York City apartment at the Hollywood hit Something's GotId Offer. The side-splash of Asher Grey marble tiles is from Ann Sacks.

CHECKERBOARD FLOOR

The shower stall of a California guest bathroom is clad in Carrara marble tiles out of Stones Unlimited and the Soho marble tiles are from Exquisite Surfaces.

VINTAGE GLAMOUR

In an art-deco bathroom, mother-of-pearl liner frames the Arpell Bianco tile from Artistic Tile.

WHIMSICAL COMBO

Graphic Escher tiles by Amethyst Artisan and zebra wallpaper lift a children' bathroom in an apartment decorated by Miles Redd.
